Welcome

The Miller lab is a lab in the Departments of Molecular & Cell Biology and Chemistry at UC Berkeley. Our long term goal is the development and application of molecular tools for studying neuroscience. In particular, we aim to develop and deploy tools to map the activity of interacting neurons within a circuit. To achieve these goals we employ techniques in molecular design, organic synthesis, molecular biology, cell biology, imaging, and electrophysiology.

 In the Miller lab, we believe diverse scientists bonded through a common love of research and education foster innovation and scientific progress.
